Pecking Order™ - Key ConceptsVersatile and extremely effective, Pecking Order™ has the capacity to be used for:
Collaborative All users work from a central spot, called the Case Management List.
Service Driven Workflow In a service driven workflow, you create a service, and then fulfill it.
Sample Driven Workflow In a sample driven workflow, you begin with a sample from a client and that determines the services which you add to the case.
Integrated Management Lists The Casetracker uses six management lists to record and organize details for all cases: 1. The Case Management List (CML) Most things begin at the Case Management List. It provides a quick overview of everything that’s going on, and allows team members to collaboratively track most activity on their cases. On the Case Management List, you can quickly:
2. The Billing Management List (BML) The Billing Management List provides a quick overview of items that will be billed to a case. It compiles all the case information needed to generate invoices for services.
3. The Sample Management List (SML) SML tracks the storage and processing of all samples collected. While samples are initially added to cases in the Case Management List, they are further managed using the SML. The Samples Management List tracks the status of all samples in the system. It considers two types of samples; samples which are 'held' (stored for future reference), and samples that are 'in process' (part of an active process). It allows the user to collect samples from a number of different cases to prepare shipments. The interface supports the very practical management of splitting samples. It's possible to split a held sample, and create a new tracking record for the new part as it goes somewhere else. 4. The Shipping Management List (ShML) The Shipping Management List displays the shipment ID number, shipping destination, dates shipped and received, waybill number, courier, and payment type. The ShML also offers a summary list of samples included in each shipment. 5. The Contact Management List (ContactML) Contact Management List is a directory of all companies associated with your organization, including farms, third party labs, regulatory boards, feed suppliers, hatcheries, processing plants and veterinary practices. Here you can find and edit essential information about these companies and the people or "contacts" (owners and other "agents") associated with each. 6. The Farm Management List (FML) The Farm management list catalogues farms receiving services. This list supplements the Contact Management List with geographic and bird species references for all companies that are farms. The Farm Management List shows the Farm name and ID number, as well as summary lists of any barns and attachments in the farm record. You can click on these links to view details and expand the record to view or edit farm details, which may include GPS coordinates, bird types, and a legal description of the farm. Reports Centralized data is useful for more than efficient workflow. When a case is finished, the user can easily create and distribute reports. Quickly examine business productivity. Depending on your company's needs, it is easy to mine for data. |
